Back From Anvil

hey peeps,
 i got back from Anil on saturday. what a week. it was so much crazy good fun. i came to realize how old i am, haha. by tuesday i was just finished, and for the first time, i got really sick when i got home. anyway, it was an amazing year for worship, and alot more fun than i expected. i got to hang out with soo many cool people, and meet so many more. i am really looking forward to hanging out wiht friends from camp alot more this coming year. haha especially if nights like last night (monday) keep going on.
  Me and my fellow criminals- Megan, Emily, Andrew and Mark- were all just hanging out at Megans house when Megan pulls out her brothers pellet gun. Mark, who has an awesome shot by the way, decides to shoot it, so he shoots it in Megans front yard, which is perfectly legal. Than Megans jerk neighbour comes out and tells Mark if he shoots it one more time he is gonna come over, stick it up his ass and shoot it, haha. all i got to say is he must have had something up his ass, or he didnt get anything up there the night before, and took out his anger on Mark. so what does the guy do, call the cops. not only does he call the cops, but he tells them we have a real gun when he knows full well that it was a pellet gun. so we are sitting in Megans living room - reading the Bible of course - when we hear "2009!! THIS IS THE POLICE! COME OUT ONE BY ONE WITH YOUR HANDS UP!!" haha Megan goes outside her front door and sticks her hands in the air. Andrew goes next, then Mark. Then it's my turn. So i put my hands up and go out the door to see two police officers facing me. one with a machine gun and one with a 9mm handgun. they lay us all face down on the burning driveway made out of asphalt. haha turns out they had cops hidden all around her house, even in the bushes in her backyard!! so they ask her where the gun is and Megan tells them. They go inside, searching the house as the five of us lay face down. haha so when they find the pellet gun they start laughing. they come out and ask us for our names and stuff and do background checks, and of course nothing is found. they pull Megan aside and start asking her stuff cause its her house and gun. she tells them we just got back from Bible Camp and they laugh. they sarcastically call us little shits and let us go back in the house, haha, and we all just burst out in laughter. if only we had a camera. this moment was priceless and will go down in my history as one of the funniest things to ever happen, haha. Mark, Andrew, Emily and Megan - CRIMINALS FOR LIFE!!!
 i would like to extend a special thanks to Mark Mackillop for the experience that i had yesterday, haha, it was hilarious. insiders know, outsiders wanna know. all i can say is for life, i will always have the heebeeGB's!!

hey everyone. seems like it is few and far between everytime i update this site, i guess you guys don't even check anymore, haha. i am leaving for camp on saturday, so in two days. for those of you who don't know i am a councilor at a childrens bible camp for a week every summer. i will be gone for a week. i am glad to report my old friend kevin will be joining me for one day up at anvil this year. should be good times. anyway, one of my roller hockey teams lost last sunday, so the fury are done, but my other team, the venom keep rollin. cant wait to lace em up again when i get back. rami has served up another hot ass plate of cooked thoughts. this one is about religion, check it out, once again located on the links section on the left hand side of the page. click on cooked thoughts. simple enough. turns out my cell phone is broken, so if you have tried calling it in the past couple of days and it is off, you know why, but rogers has told me it will be alright when i get back from camp, which is the 24th. if you need anything call my house, 420-2100, or someones cell, most likely rice or jewy and i will be with them. but yeah, i should get back to getting ready for camp. thanx for checkin me out once again. and as usual, spiro is officially, for the week, out!!

update

hey everyone. sorry its been awhile, my computer has been acting up and i had to re-format, well i didnt, kevin did it, haha, but yeah, so i am back up and running. anyway, i have had a good week. went to the beach with ash, brooke, ricki, stef, rami and nadeem, as well as colin and rice making a guest appearance. we went to kits, went swimming, played some girl tennis volleyball, drank some beer and hung out. all in all it was good times. anyway, things are calming down lately, i have to help my dad at work alot next week so its gonna be busy. and jen, yaz, jungo, peter. i hope you guys are having a wicked time in montreal, drink one for me guys. until next time, spiro is officially out.

good week

it was a nice week back home. all i pretty much did was sleep a ton. without having a job, which is great by the way, i have been able to relax and play nhl2004 alot. i did some fun stuff though. i got to hang out with jen, rahim, jungo and scott right when i got back. i have played alot of hockey with the fury, the venom, and a mix of people on wednesday night. i went to the golden spike on friday night with alot of people and drank, then followed that up by visiting the casino with hilmi, styner, and patrick. i made 35 bucks, haha, all thanks to hilmis excellent coaching. by the way, don't play slots, they suck. then saturday night i went to steves house and won every game of nhl with both andrew wasik and jimmy as my partners. however, above all of this, the most important thing i did was on thursday. i had the chance to go to the childrens hospital and visit William Ataya, a family friend who is like a younger brother to me. he has had some bad luck and was not doing to well, but when i saw him on thursday he was doing well. he remembered who i was, was very responsive with questions we asked him, and has improved. he is being the fighter we all know he is and pulling through. my thoughts and prayers have been with him since i got back and i am glad to say he is getting so much better. keep fighting brother, we will be there to take you home soon. can't wait to build that laptop with you.

back home

well it feels good to be back home. i arrived home around 5:30 this morning after being up for 25 hours straight and driving for about 18. the drive was ok. from san diego to portland it was awesome. then it rained and was dark and got muggy. no fun at all. but i am home and thats all that matters. since i am home i am entertaining all phone calls cause i wanna hang with everyone. hopefully our video gets done soon and you can all witness the fun we had. anyway, i have a hockey game and have to go, thanx to everyone who kept me company in san diego over msn, much appreciated. until next time this is spiro, outtie.

back from anaheim

hey everyone,

i just got back from a 4 days stay in anaheim with rice, andrew, mike, colin, nadeem and rami. we arrived on monday in time to catch the end of the tampa calgary game 4. we chilled for the night.
Tuesday we woke up bright and early to hit up a nice day of surfing. we ended up having a fun day of surfing and swimming, played a wicked game of beach football, which team lebanon(me,andrew,rami and his cousin taj) won. that night rami, nadeem, rice, colin and myself went to the anaheim angels-boston red sox baseball game which the angels won 7-6. it lasted forever (over 3 and a half hours) but was a ton of fun. not only did the angels win, but we got free mini bats as we left the game. we ended up back at the hotel and again drank some beers.
Wednesday was by far the funest day i have had down here. we went to the best place ever, six flags. man was it wicked!! we went on all the coasters except for 2, and had such an awesome time. best part was rice and i devised a scheme to sneak his video camera on the rides, so we have wicked footage of a first person view of all the roller coasters, it worked out perfectly. i have to officially say me and rice are the sneaky kings, haha. that night we went to red lobster for dinner, then back to the hotel for some tv and much needed r and r.
then this morning we woke up and are now back in san diego. overall a fun 4 days in anaheim. this is the last update til i get back to vancouver as i leave here on saturday morning. i look forward to seeing you all again.

well it's been a while coming, but i am coming on home. i leave a week today (saturday) and will be home on Sunday the 6th of June. Today Mike n Colin are coming on down here. Yesterday was my last day of work, so the next week is all fun. Anyway, hope to see you all soon, miss y'all.
